How to Use This Framework
The Environmental Justice Framework is designed to support inclusive, equitable, and community-led decision-making in environmental work. It is structured as a cyclical process, meaning it can be re-entered at any stage and continually adapted as your work progresses.
Starting Point
We recommend beginning with Educate & Empower, the first stage in the Environmental Justice Cycle. From there, you can navigate through the stages—Explore, Scoping, Information Gathering, and so on—by clicking the relevant section of the circular graphic.
Each stage includes:
